On Tuesday night, 29-year-old Caroline Dahm and 34-year-old Reece Curran won the seventh season of ‘The Settlers’. Here you can see how the couple was given the deed and the keys to the house they had given a loving overhaul on TV for the last many weeks, after which they were invited to a party in their new 2.8 million expensive home.
But in fact, the couple was chased out again when the party was over.
“When you win, you get a key and a deed. But the lap there is nothing inside, it’s just for the sake of the TV. And the key is taken from us again in the evening because we are not allowed to sleep in the houses. But we will move in as soon as we have to. After all, there is a transfer period of a few months. There are practical things with loans and deeds and insurance that can take some time, “explains ‘Settlers’ winner Caroline to BT
In addition, it has also been half a year from the time the program was recorded until the final has just been broadcast.
“We’ve almost felt like we’ve been a bit on standby the last few months because we didn’t really know what was going to happen. No matter what was going to happen, it was great to get clarification on it all, because it has taken almost a year the whole process from the casting off. And then it’s just cool that it was us who ended up with the victory, “cheers Caroline Dahm.
Therefore, she and her husband, Australian Reece Curran, have only now allowed themselves to dream big dreams about the future life in the scenic city of Sønderborg.[display-posts orderby="rand"]
‘We hope we have children in our new house. We just suddenly have a lot more security when we have a house. That is probably also why we have not had children before, “explains the 29-year-old model.
“It’s perfect timing for us now,” the 34-year-old Australian adds with a laugh.
Not least, the couple has made big plans for their careers after ‘The Settlers’. They hope to sell their bar on the Greek island of Ios so they can focus more on their home in Denmark.
‘We thought maybe we could start a small café or something. We have experience with the bar and it is a great city. Maybe we can start a small café and sell furniture in there as well, “explains Reece Curran, who, among other things, has received many inquiries about the bookcase he made for the couple’s office.
“We want a little more in the direction of something crafty,” adds Caroline Dahm.
But for now, the couple must content themselves with making plans until they can move into their dream house in Sønderborg in a few months.
