This is news that will make “True Detective” fans damn nostalgic. Indeed, 10 years after having collaborated in season 1 of the detective anthology, the two actors Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey will put the cover back in a series … much less dark.

Accustomed to launching cult series for two decades, the HBO channel broadcast in 2013 True Detective. The show has a particularity: each season focuses on a criminal investigation, each time with new detectives (and therefore, new actors). Thus, for the first season, the series hires neither more nor less than two big names in cinema: Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey.
At that time, the announcement is enormous since, unlike today, it is rare for stars of the big screen to work in series. The first season therefore sees the actor duo working brilliantly together, in a season just as exceptional.
