After A Christmas Crush, with Lindsay Lohan, Netflix released another Christmas movie, this time starring Freddie Prinze Jr., along with an actress from Lucifer.
“Career-tired, pop star Angelina runs away to a small town to fulfill a fan’s wish. There, she finds inspiration and the chance to experience true love.
In addition to Prinze Jr., the cast includes Aimee Garcia, known to Lucifer fans for playing Ella Lopez in the Netflix series.
Directed by Gabriela Tagliavini, the feature film tells the story of a successful but burned-out pop star, Angelina (Aimee Garcia), who is in search of inspiration while reluctantly trying to write a hit Christmas song.
Through her writer’s block and creative struggles, she stumbles across a video of a young fan who just wants to meet the star while on vacation. Naturally, Angelina feels connected to this particular fan and decides to shake things up and visit.
As soon as she surprises the fan, Angelina is trapped in the snow and trapped in the city. After spending more time there, Angelina begins to succumb to the small town’s charm. She also starts to fall in love with the fan’s father.
