A successful singer and songwriter
Giulia Bourguignon Marinho, 23 years old, was born in Rio de Janeiro, and uses Giulia Be as her artistic name, following the wave of other artists.
The passion for music started early, starting to play the piano at the age of six and composing songs since the age of eight.
However, it was during Rock In Rio, in 2017, that she decided to dive into the idea of pursuing a career as a singer and songwriter.
Along with a friend, Giulia Be went to Maroon 5’s dressing room to take a picture, and even sang the song “She Will Be Loved” with the band members.
After being praised by guitarist Mickey Madden for her voice, she decided to drop out of law school to pursue a career in music.
In the same year, Giulia Be started doing covers on her YouTube channel, and ended up gaining prominence after singing “Deixe-Me Ir”, by the group 1Kilo.
In 2018, Giulia Be signed with Warner Music, and collaborated with DJ Zerb on the single “With You”. The following year, she released “Too Bad”, which in a short time, entered the soundtrack of O Sétimo Guardião, Globo soap opera.
The song was so successful that it reached the top 50 on Spotify worldwide. His second song, “Chega”, released in the same year, was the first sung in Portuguese.
In 2019, she even performed at Rock in Rio alongside Projota and Vitão. Giulia Be also released the song “Menina Solta”, which in the same year, went to Spotify’s top 10 in Brazil. She later recorded a Spanish version under the name “Chiquita Suelta”.
