The adventures of the Verneuil family and Koffi miss you? Rest assured, a sequel to the film “What have we done to the good Lord?“awaits you because as they say, never two without three! After the first two films of the famous popular comedy which had gathered nearly 19 million televiewers in France, its director, Philippe de Chauveron, therefore decided to give a third layer!
This time the film will be titled “What have we all done to the good Lord ? “and we will obviously find at the head of this new opus, Claude Verneuil embodied by Christian Clavier and André Koffi, embodied by Pascal Nzonzi. The rest of the cast has yet to be revealed as has the new story plot, but Chantal Lauby (aka Marie Verneuil) promises a fun sequel.
Invited to the microphone of Stephane Bern on RTL, the actress revealed about the script: “I read it and laughed a lot. I had a lot of fun. I’m not going to tell you the story but I think [Philippe de Chauveron] manages to renew itself with this subject and it manages to take us elsewhere. We will discover all the families and we will have fun “.
As a reminder, at the end of the 2nd film, we left the Verneuil and Koffi family reunited and happy, the Verneuil daughters and their husbands not finally leaving France and after the marriage of Viviane Koffi. So what will happen next? The new story will be on display on screens from 6 avril 2022.
It is soon the 40 years of marriage between Claude and Marie Verneuil. For this occasion, their four daughters decide to organize a big surprise party in the family home of Chinon and to invite the parents of each of the sons-in-law there for a few days. Claude and Marie will have to welcome the parents of Rachid, David, Chao and Charles under their roof: this “family” stay promises to be eventful.[display-posts orderby="rand"]
