Where in Wellcome will I be working?

Wellcome’s Corporate Affairs team works to build and sustain the trust, influence, reputation, and brand that will help us ensure science works for and with the people we seek to benefit.

We are hiring an experienced CRM Data Specialist who can maintain our Salesforce CRM following a migration from Dynamics in early 2022. You will play a key role in driving adoption and improving data quality, as well as contributing to a wider Salesforce implementation programme.

As part of the Digital Communications Product Team, you will look after our Dotdigital email marketing platform and any future systems with similar functionality.

Your experience will include managing data to support communications activities across an organisation and translating user requirements into technical solutions. While experience in Salesforce is desirable, we can provide more specific training where necessary.

What will I be doing?

In this role you will

  • Liaise and articulate user needs to technical staff and consultants

  • Keeping data in a good state and GDPR compliant. Ensuring no duplicate records

  • Compile statistics on usage of the system for relevant teams

  • Support teams in their use of the system

  • Help onboarding process for new teams by involving relevant experts and working out a programme of work

  • Ensuring users are using the system in the best possible way

  • Running training and refresher sessions

  • Proactively reaching out and encouraging folk to use the system

  • Exercise cost control and seek approval for expenditure to ensure we work within the agreed operating budget

  • Producing tableau dashboards to report on regular stats as well as on an ad-hoc basis

We are looking for someone with experience of:

  • Experience of running and managing data to support communications and marketing activities across organisation

  • Experience of being able to translate user requirements into technical solutions

  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and the administration of them

  • Working knowledge of the principles of GDPR and how it relates to the storage, retention and use of personal data.

  • Able to adapt style and approach to a variety of staff and external stakeholders

  • Strong attention to detail. Educational qualification demonstrating high level written English ability.

Salary – Circa £37,000
