Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has reached Dubai with wife Anushka Sharma for the second half of IPL 2021. Bollywood actress Anushka gave this information on the official Instagram account of her social media.
Anushka wrote in an Instagram story, ‘Bye UK, you were wonderful as always.’ After reaching Dubai, the Indian actress tagged Royal Challengers Bangalore and wrote, ‘Here we are! Dubai.’
Earlier, RCB had also tweeted and confirmed their arrival in Dubai with photos of Kohli (Virat Kohli landed Dubai) and pacer Mohammad Siraj. Both the players reached Dubai on Sunday. Team India players are currently reaching Dubai directly from Manchester. After the cancellation of the fifth and final Test of the series, all the players are joining their respective franchises for the second half of the IPL.
RCB wrote on their official Twitter handle, ‘The news you were waiting for: King Kohli and Miyan Magic have joined the team in Dubai.’
Mumbai Indians players arrived in UAE on Saturday
Earlier, players from Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals also reached UAE. Mumbai had called their players on Saturday while Delhi Capitals players arrived on Sunday morning. Australia all-rounder Dan Christian also reached Dubai on Sunday.
Players coming from UK will have to stay in Quarantine for 6 days
The BCCI has informed all the franchisees that all players coming from the UK will have to stay in mandatory quarantine for 6 days. He will then enter the team’s bio bubble. The UAE leg of the IPL will start from September 19. In the first match, there will be a clash between the defending champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
