Trend colors 2022
The royals swear by these tones in summer
The royals are picky when it comes to their outfits. But there are three trend colors that you are currently loving. We know what those are.
When it comes to choosing their clothes, royals like Letizia, Victoria or Máxima often go for fashionably safe and simple combinations. But currently they are also turning to color. We’ll tell you here what they are and how to combine them.
Whether in the shop windows of well-known fashion brands or on the catwalks – green is currently everywhere. Also in the wardrobe of Queen Letizia of Spain, 49. During a visit to Cáceres, she combines a bright green blouse with a bow at the collar with a summery midi skirt with a floral print by Sweet Matitos. She also wears stylish wedges.
The strong green not only makes Letizia’s look look fresh, it also makes the otherwise rather simple outfit an eye-catcher. So you know it from the Spanish Queen.
Along with green, pink is also on the love list of royals and fashionistas. Either both colors are combined with each other or worn individually. Crown Princess Victoria, 44, recently demonstrated how stylish pink can look at a performance in Stockholm. She’s wearing a bright bubblegum pink power suit; even her earrings and scarf are color coordinated to match the look.
Pink looks especially beautiful with Victoria’s dark hair; Letizia also regularly uses the special color. No matter how it is combined, it always makes the royals stand out.
Royal blue is and remains a favorite of royal fashion queens. Máxima, 50, proves this again at the award ceremony for the “Appeltjes van Oranje 2022” at Noordeinde Castle in The Hague. The Queen of the Netherlands combines her royal blue dress with white embroidery with a white bag and white pumps. Her husband, Willem-Alexander, 50, also wears royal blue. And the same applies here: The strong color harmonises perfectly with the trend colors green and pink, but they are also great when worn alone.
