Tom Sizemore, known for his roles in Saving Private Ryan, Cobra Kai, among many other films and series, has passed away at the age of 61.
The actor was already hospitalized in Los Angeles after suffering an aneurysm at home. Manager Charles Lago told multiple media outlets that Sizemore was discovered around 2 am and transported to the hospital.
The family chose to turn off the machines at the hospital, confirmed the star’s manager in a statement (via ComicBook)
“It is with great sadness that I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore, aged 61, passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph’s Hospital Burbank,” said Lago. “His brother Paul and twins Jayden and Jagger (17) were by his side.”

Tom Sizemore has an enviable resume, having worked on prominent films such as Black Hawk Down, Born on the Fourth of July, Natural Born Killers and Fire Against Fire.
Most recently, he worked on Netflix’s Cobra Kai, playing JT Taggart, and has numerous other projects in the pipeline, including the sci-fi Impuratus.
In this upcoming feature film, he plays a police detective who is forced to believe in the supernatural after witnessing the deathbed confession of a Civil War veteran.
Throughout his career, he has had more than 200 roles, including films and series.
