Britney Spears’ ex-husband banned from contact

Just before his ex-wife ties the knot, Jason Alexander shows up at Britney Spears’ property — to “storm” the wedding, as he puts it. Now he has to answer for, among other things, trespassing and is not allowed to approach the singer for the time being.

After the arrest of Jason Alexander in front of Britney Spears’ house, the singer’s ex-husband received a no-contact order in court. He must now keep a distance of at least 90 meters from the former pop superstar for three years, as reported by “Fox News” and other US media.

Alexander, who was briefly married to Spears in 2004, was arrested outside the 40-year-old singer’s home in California last Thursday after trespassing on the property. Preparations were underway there for the wedding of Spears and her fiancé Sam Ashgari. The two said yes later that evening in front of dozens of celebrity guests.

According to police, Alexander was initially taken into custody on an open warrant on another matter. Now he also faces charges of trespassing, stalking, and other crimes. Authorities set bail at $100,000, according to TMZ.com.

The celebrity portal posted a video on Thursday that Alexander is said to have published as a live stream on Instagram. It shows him walking through the property’s house and garden, telling staff that Britney invited him. He was here to “storm” the wedding. Spears married her childhood friend Alexander 18 years ago in Las Vegas, but the marriage was annulled after 55 hours.
