Thor and Captain Marvel are having one of the weirdest partnerships in comics. And it’s not even their fault.
According to Screen Rant, in current Marvel comics, Thor has lost control of Mjölnir again. At the same time, Captain Marvel discovered that her powers, somehow, can manifest in a physical way, that is, as an independent figure.
It turns out that this being that emerged from Captain Marvel’s powers is in possession of Mjölnir, which is bizarre because, traditionally, none of them can act independently. As we know, Thor’s hammer is one of the most powerful accessories in the Marvel comics, so the danger in this situation is very great.
Thor and Captain Marvel now have a very strange connection that came about without them having any choice. What remains now is to know what the consequences of this will be in the comics.
In the movies, Chris Hemsworth returns for a new adventure as Thor
Chris Hemsworth returns to play the God of Thunder in Thor’s fourth solo film (Thor: Love and Thunder), the ninth time he’s played the character in the MCU.
He starred in all four Thor movies, all four Avengers movies, and he appeared briefly in a Doctor Strange post-credits scene.
Chris Hemsworth won’t be the only familiar face to appear in Thor: Love and Thunder when it arrives in 2022. Tessa Thompson will once again take on the role of Valkyrie, while Natalie Portman finally reprises her role as Jane Foster from the first two Thor movies, and Jaimie Alexander returns as Lady Sif.
Guardians of the Galaxy actors Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan and Sean Gunn also joined the project.
Oscar-winner and MCU newcomer Christian Bale will take on the role of Gorr, the Butcher of the Gods, the film’s main antagonist. At the same time, Russell Crowe appears as Zeus.
Thor 4, or Thor: Love and Thunder, is scheduled for July 7, 2022. The other films can be seen on Disney+.
