While the men’s race ends this Sunday, the women’s Tour de France will start on July 24 in Paris, from the Eiffel Tower, before ending on July 31, 2022 in the east of the country.

It had been twelve years since the Women’s Tour de France had not made his start, whereas that of the men ends, this Sunday July 24, 2022. Until July 31, runners from all over the world will surpass themselves during eight stages and 1029km, after their departure from the capital, from the Eiffel Tower. This short first stage of 82km will take place right in the middle of the capital, with a finish on the Champs-Elysées, before moving in the next few days to the east, via Provins.

To preserve the visibility of the event, the organizers deliberately planned the women’s edition just after the men’s. So far, the Women’s Giro and the “Course by the Tour” (a single stage of the Tour) were the two main meetings of the World Tour circuitthe women’s first division. 144 runners answered present for this new Tour de France Women, which they hope to see perpetuate.
