While season 2 of The Witcher was released barely a month ago, we already know the start date of filming for the next season.
Season 2 of The Witcher, which arrived on Netflix on December 17, has won over many fans. While season 3 was formalized last September, we already know the shooting date of this new season. According to Redanian Intelligence, pre-production for the third season kicks off this month and filming will start next March. It is also announced that the writing began in July 2021 and ended in December of the same year. Season 2 production was complicated between the coronavirus pandemic and Henry Cavill’s injury, therefore, the conditions were not ideal.
