Carl then assures him that his mother won’t revive before Rick finds out what happened. It’s a horrible situation, but a deleted scene from season three made things even worse by turning Lori into a zombie, after all, joining a long line of characters from The Walking Dead turned into zombies.

In the deleted scene, Rick is shown kissing Lori’s “ghost”, only to be confronted by her now sporting a decadent zombie appearance. Naturally, Rick is terrified and ends up staggering back as he screams.

More about The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror series based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard.

The series features a large cast as survivors of a zombie apocalypse trying to stay alive under the almost constant threat of zombie attacks known as “walkers” (among other nicknames).

However, with the collapse of modern civilization, these survivors must confront other human survivors who have formed groups and communities with their own sets of laws and morals, sometimes leading to open and hostile conflict between them.

Andrew Lincoln played the main character, Rick Grimes, until his departure in season nine.

Other longtime cast members include Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Josh McDermitt and Christian Serratos.
