The Offer is the awaited series dedicated to the making of the film The Godfather and now the project has a exit date: The first three episodes will be available on April 28 on Paramount +. The project will consist of a total of ten episodes.
Miles Teller will star in The Offer in the role of producer Al Ruddy, recounting the making of the film The Godfather, directed in 1972 by Francis Ford Coppola and adapted by Mario Puzo, author of the novel that inspired him.
The film starred Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, John Cazale, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton and Talia Shire.
The cast also includes Matthew Goode as Robert Evans, Juno Temple as Bettye McCartt, Giovanni Ribisi as Joe Colombo, Dan Fogler as Francis Ford Coppola, Burn Gorman as Charles Bludhorn, Colin Hanks as Barry Lapidus and Patrick Gallo in the role of Mario Puzo.
Michael Tolkin (Escape at Dannemora) is the creator and screenwriter of the series, also written by Nikki Toscano who serves as showrunner.
