The movie you need to see after Doctor Strange 2

Not everyone is enjoying Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Doctor Strange 2), the new release from Marvel Studios.

Of course, it’s always impossible to please everyone, but still, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Doctor Strange 2) is proving more divisive than most Marvel productions.

This can perhaps be explained by the absurd expectations of the audience, not to mention that the script also received some criticism.

But, many agree that there is a very positive highlight in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Doctor Strange 2): the direction of Sam Raimi.

Even with limitations, the director manages to deliver a creative and somewhat crazy approach, with more horror than Marvel fans are used to.

If you liked that in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Doctor Strange 2), it’s a good time to watch A Crazy Night 2, or Evil Dead 2, which was also directed by Sam Raimi.

Sam Raimi’s Great Classic

In the storyline of A Crazy Night 2, Bruce Campbell returns as Ash Williams to fight ghosts, demons and evil spirits the way only he can.

Of course, the first Crazy Night is also worth watching, but it’s in this sequel that Sam Raimi embraces the fun of trash, making the audience laugh and get scared.

Mixing comedy and horror, Crazy Night 2 presents a story very similar to the first Crazy Night, but with an approach with which the director seems to be much freer.

The sequel had a great reception with the public and with the critics, being remembered, nowadays, as one of the best mixtures of horror and comedy in cinema.

It’s evident that this work by Sam Raimi had some impact on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Doctor Strange 2), even if he also had to please Marvel and Disney executives.

Sadly, Big Night 2 is not currently available on any major streaming services, but you can watch it via digital rental.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Doctor Strange 2) is now in theaters.
