Or dramatic suspense ‘The Lost Daughter’ (The Lost Daughter), starring Olivia Colman e Dakota Johnson, is now available on Netflix and has already become one of the most acclaimed productions on the platform.
Now, Colman and Johnson have teamed up to reveal the feature’s backstage secrets.
Leda is a woman who travels on vacation to the coast and becomes obsessed with a young mother and her daughter when she watches them on the beach. Unnerved by her enveloping relationship (and her shrill, menacing family), Leda is overwhelmed by her own memories of the terror, confusion and intensity of motherhood. An impulsive act plunges her into the strange and sinister world of her own mind, where she is forced to face the unconventional choices she made when she was younger – and their consequences.
