Eurovision Song Contest 2022, the looks of the final

This evening past, present and future are mixed on the stage of the PalaOlimpico in Turin. The musical guests will be the Italian winners of Eurovision in past editions: Gigliola Cinquetti and the Maneskin. On the other hand, Toto Cutugno was absent due to health problems. If Gigliola Cinquetti will bring back to the stage that “I have no age” that made her famous in the sixties, Damiano David and his rock band will perform in the single just released “Supermodel” and probably in “Zitti e buona”, the song that has blew up the Rotterdam stage at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 and thanks to which Italy was able to organize Eurovision at home this year. The Maneskins did not rehearse on stage at last night’s Jury Show to keep their performance a secret, what is known is that most likely the singer Damiano will go on stage with crutches due to an accident a few days ago.

For days the bookmakers have been wild and the prices change almost daily. What has never changed is the trio of favorites on the podium: Ukraine with the Kalush Orchestra, Italy with Mahmood and Blanco and Sweden with Cornelia Jacobs. In the last hours in the race for the final victory three other names have entered, one of which totally outsider: Sam Ryder of the United Kingdom, Chanel of Spain and the unsuspected Konstrakta of Serbia.

The final is broadcast in prime time on Rai1, Rai 4 (digital terrestrial channel 21) and on the TivùSat platform on channel 110. The live broadcast will also be broadcast on Rai Radio 2 and available on RaiPlay. A show preceded, from 8.35 pm on Rai 1, by the preview with Gabriele Corsi and Cristiano Malgioglio, with the participation of Carolina Di Domenico, live from the Glass Studio in Turin. They also have the task of commenting on the evening for the Italian public.
