The King’s Man: back to basics

After the success of the two films Kingsman Released in 2014 and 2017, Matthew Vaughn took a little trip back in time for the new spy saga film. Indeed, with The King’s Man (in theaters since December 29), the director sets his plot at the beginning of the 20th century, during the World War One. It was at the end of this conflict which claimed millions of victims that the intelligence agency was created.

For this First Mission, the founders must fight against a network bringing together the worst tyrants and criminals Of the history. Starting with the mysterious (but no less charismatic) Rasputin (played by the brilliant Rhys Ifans). An enjoyable and offbeat rereading of History, which does not skimp on the crazy action scenes specific to the saga.

In the cast, we find Ralph Fiennes, Djimon Hounsou, Harris Dickinson and Gemma Arterton.

The post-credits scene that announces the sequel

The next film in the saga will be the highly anticipated Kingsman 3 which will enter filming in September, and which will close the narrative arc of Egsy (Taron Egerton).
