Years later, while on a mission in Bangkok, “Six” discovers that the Agency has asked him to eliminate another member of the Sierra program. And to eliminate him, the Agency calls on a real sociopath: Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans).

Even before the launch of The Gray Manwe suspected that with such a cast the film would attract subscribers in number. It’s still too early to talk about figures, but Netflix has nevertheless announced that the film had placed itself in first place among new films watched in no less than 92 countries for its first weekend. Therefore, it is logical a sequel is mentioned.

The start of a franchise for Ryan Gosling

The announcement did not take long, and there will be a suite. According to The WrapNetflix reportedly also announced a spin-off, allowing the platform to capitalize even more on this early franchise. Obviously, Ryan Gosling is announced to return in The Gray Man 2, just like the Russo brothers directing. As for the story, the production will once again draw on the side novels by Mark Greaneywho has already published a dozen books in the series The Gray Man. Enough to give substance to Netflix.

Finally, regarding the spin-off, the Russo brothers (who will produce it) remained enigmatic. But Joe Russo still revealed to Deadline that screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (Spiderhead) will take care of writing it and that it will be an R-rated film (more than 17 years in the United States), more nervous and experimental.
