According to Deadline, Sharon Stone (‘Basic Instinct’) has joined the cast of the 2nd season of the lauded series ‘The Flight Attendant‘.
The actress will play Lisa Bowden, Cassie’s mother (Kaley Cuoco). After years of dealing with her daughter’s alcoholism – something that ended up damaging their relationship – Lisa has no patience for anything anymore.
Through your Instagram, Kaley Cuoco celebrated the news with a photo with the veteran actress: “I can finally share this. Hi Mom! I love you.”
Still without a premiere date, the 2nd season will follow a Cassie (Kaley Cuoco) newly sober, living in Los Angeles, “while working as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes embroiled in another international intrigue.”
Created by Steve Yockey, the series is an adaptation of the homonymous novel by Chris Bohjalia.
The plot follows Cassandra Bowden, who wakes up with a hangover in a hotel room in Dubai… with a dead body at her side, not knowing what happened. Instead of calling the police, she joins her co-workers on a flight to New York, where she is intercepted by FBI agents, who have some questions about her recent activities. Unable to remember what happened, Cassandra begins to suspect that she may be the killer.
The cast still has Zosia Mamet, Michiel Huisman, Rosie Perez, T.R. Knight, Colin Woodell, Michelle Gomez, Merle Dandridge, Griffin Matthews e Nolan Gerard Funk.
