The Duffer Brothers, creators of ‘Stranger Things‘ are revealing their plans for a fifth season. We still don’t know what we will have in the plot of the new year, but the authors of the series already know very well what they are preparing for the long-awaited finale.
According to Varietythe outcome of ‘Stranger Things‘ will bring a little bit of all the previous seasons. However, the goal would also be to “go back to the beginning” of everything, when Will was gone.
“Season five, the way we see it, is sort of the culmination of all seasons, so it kind of has a little bit of each. Part 3 is our big summer blockbuster season with big monsters, and 4 was the psychological horror. I think what we’re trying to do is go back to the beginning a little bit, in a part 1 sort of tone. But also, scale-wise, it’s more in line with what part 4 is. all”said the authors.
It was also revealed that the first episode of the fifth season, called ‘The Crawl‘, is already finished. And we can start to have high expectations, as Netflix execs apparently cried in the meeting where the big story map was laid out.
“As important as the supernatural is, we have so many characters now, most of whom are still alive. It’s important to wrap up these arcs because a lot of these characters have been growing since season one. So it’s a balancing act between giving them time to complete their arcs and also tying up those loose ends and doing our final reveals.”they told.
