‘The Conners’ renewed for season 5

THE ABC officially renewed the comedy ‘The Conners‘ for season 5.

The fourth cycle has recorded an average of 0.8 in the demo, and a total of 4.8 million viewers – what to represent the most popular comedy on the channel.

In addition, the channel also announced the renewal of ‘Big Sky‘ (Season 3), ‘A Million Little Things‘ (Season 5), ‘Home Economics‘ (Season 3) and ‘The Wonder Years‘ (Season 2).

The spin-off was created after the original series was canceled due to racist comments from its protagonist, Roseanne Barr. In the spin-off, his character died from an overdose.

After a sudden upheaval, the Conners are forced to face the daily hardships of life in Lanford in a way they never have before. The iconic family – made up of Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky and DJ – grapple with the issues of parenthood, dating, unexpected pregnancy, financial pressures, aging and work.

The list includes John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Alicia Goranson, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, Jayden Rey and Maya Lynne Robinson.
