The news, reported by What’s On Netflixclaims that The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Lewis’s seven-novel work, will return to the screens after the film adaptations made since 2005 with The Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe and then continued with two sequels that have not, however, replicated the good results obtained at the box office of the first chapter of the story of the Pevensie brothers and sisters, who find themselves struggling with a fantastic world.

The rights to the work were purchased in 2018 by the streaming platform which intends to make new films, entrusting the development of the saga to Matthew Alrich. The director’s choice would now have fallen on Greta Gerwig, fresh from successes such as Little Women and Lady Bird.
