Those who follow the series know that Butcher was never exactly a hero, but he tries to make things right even with his arrogant way.

However, season 3 teasers showed that the character can have a change in behavior and become even more violent after inducing a dose of compound V.

In an interview for Entertainment Weekly, urban revealed that Billy may end up going down a villainous path in an attempt to fight those he believes are the real villains.

“That’s the dilemma of Season 3: Does Butcher become a superhero or a supervillain? To defeat the monster, do you need to become the monster? And I think one of the cool things about this season is that every character is faced with that choice. How far are they willing to go for their values? What line are they willing to cross in order to achieve what they want to achieve?”

Now that Butcher has superpowers, the battle against Homelander may be even, but what will be the consequences?
