The Young Sheldon episode preview reveals Simon Helberg’s cameo appearance and shows that Sheldon had trouble with an engineering project in college.

This may be the reason why he has no respect for engineers, because the field has proven to be challenging for him, who considers himself a genius.

Actor from The Big Bang Theory to return in Young Sheldon

Simon Helberg, the Howard of The Big Bang Theory, will return in the offshoot Young Sheldon series. The character will be narrating an episode from season five that is titled An Introduction to Engineering and a Glob of Hair Gel.

The episode will feature young Sheldon taking his first engineering class with Professor Boucher (Lance Reddick). With that, Howard will be narrating the chapter alongside the adult Sheldon, by Jim Parsons.

“It’s always extra fun when we can incorporate references from The Big Bang Theory. Having Simon again to help explain how Sheldon hates engineering is a dream come true,” celebrated executive producer Steven Molaro.

The season five chapter airs in the United States on November 18th. In Brazil, The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon are available on HBO Max.
