The restaurant “Felicità” was born under the impetus of RTL host Jean-Michel Zecca, recalls the magazine So Soir. Distinguished by the famous gastronomic guide less than 5 years after its inauguration, it has already achieved national recognition. An oh so prestigious title given the competition in the field across the country and, above all, a guarantee of ultimate visibility likely to attract all lovers of the kingdom’s most popular culinary tradition. that it is the subject of a category in its own right.

“Felicità” obtained the score of 13.5/20 in the Belgian edition 2023 of which we unveiled the full prize list on November 7th.

“The best of Italy”

“What differentiates this establishment from the majority is the authenticity of the recipes and, above all, the origin of the products. Renato Carati is passionate and, as most often, this passion is overflowing. At home, each dish tells a story, that of a town, a producer or a mother who gave him the recipe during one of his many trips. Around a menu that is not set in stone, he gives you the best of Italy (…) Chef Carati’s cuisine is simple, direct, in no way does it betray true Italian cuisine. That’s why we give him the title of Italian of the Year 2023″, justifies the Gault & Millau on its official website.

House specialties

Among its flagship dishes on the menu, we find in particular fried sardine caramels or a simple jardinière of sweet and sour vegetables presented in the style of Roman trattorias. Let’s also mention the “ravioli di coda alla vaccinara”, a Roman recipe with an oxtail stuffing, the “cannelloni 91”, “Signature” recipe, with sweetbreads and shank, or the homemade Milanese veal chop.
