“Two years chasing the streets like Batman (Robert pattinson), causing fear in the criminals’ hearts, led Bruce Wayne into the shadows of Gotham City. With only a few trusted allies – Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis) and Lieutenant James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) – among the city’s corrupt network of officials and prominent figures, the lone vigilante has established himself as the only personification of revenge among its dear citizens.”

“When an assassin targets Gotham’s elite with a series of sadistic manipulations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World’s Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters characters like Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro) e Edward Nashton/Charada (Paul Dano).”

“As evidence begins to draw closer to the truth and the scale of the criminal’s plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.”

Remembering that ‘The Batman‘ has a premiere scheduled for March 4, 2022.

In an interview, Reeves commented that the feature will be different from previous films and will not present itself as a traditional origin story, as we have seen in the past. As he explained, the film will make references to its origins, showing a much more emotional and complex perspective.

“I felt like we saw a lot of origin stories for the character. It seems like things go further and further into this fantasy, and I thought ‘well, one place we haven’t been is grounding it the way the Year One comics do, coming right into a young Batman, not being a tale of origin. , but referring to its origins and shaking it to the core. You can make your story very practical, but I also thought it might be the most emotional Batman movie ever made.”

In the scenes presented during the convention, it is possible to notice the somber aesthetic

Besides Pattinson in the lead role, the cast features Andy Serkis (Alfred), Zoe Kravitz (Cat Woman), Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon), John Turturro (Carmine Falcone), Peter Skarsgaard, Jayme Lawson, Gil Perez-Abraham, and the brothers Max e Charlie Carver.
