The actors of “The Crown” who appear in “Game of Thrones” and “House of the Dragon”

Streaming platforms are producing some of the best series of the moment. Recently, one of the biggest proposals for HBO Max is House of the Dragon”. For its part, one of the most popular titles of Netflix it is “The Crown”which tells the story of the British royal family and shares some actors with its competition.

“The house of the dragon”, as it is known in Spanish, is the prequel to “Game of Thrones”, another of the successes of the platform. It focuses on the Targaryen family some 200 years before the original series.

Tobias Menzies also played Prince Philipin his middle-aged stage, during the third and fourth seasons of “The Crown”.

You probably remember him for his role as Edmure Tully in “Game of Thrones”. This character was Catelyn Stark’s brother and Lord of the Riverlands after his father’s death. One of the most iconic characters of “Game of Thrones” was Tywin Lannister, played by Charles Dance. The head of House Lannister he was a powerful man who, while harsh on his three sons, did what was necessary to secure his family’s position.

In “The Crown” played Lord Mountbatten Prince Charles’s beloved uncle, who acts as a close father figure, due to his distant relationship with Philip. Another actor who has been on both shows is Stephen Dillane, who played Stannis Baratheon in “Game of Thrones”. In the HBO series, this was an important role, since he was one of the five kings who fought in the first seasons, after the death of his younger brother, Robert Baratheon.
