One statement and then she was quickly on.

Crown Princess Mary visited the Haslev Sports Continuation School on Tuesday morning with the Mary Foundation to talk to the students about loneliness, insecurity and community.

Currently, the Crown Prince Couple’s children’s school, Herlufsholm Boarding School, is known to be involved in a major case of a violent and abusive culture among the students, so on that basis it was obvious – in relation to today’s theme – to ask the Crown Princess about the case.

Several media outlets had appeared in Haslev, here among BT, but Crown Princess Mary would not answer questions.

She said shortly after her visit to the school:

“It has been a really good and insightful morning here at Haslev Idrætsefterskole, where we have gained an insight into how they work with the Me & We project,” she began with reference to an ongoing well-being project at the country’s continuation schools.

“I am deeply impressed with the young people’s ability to put into words their vulnerability and share with each other, but also their views on how they themselves can contribute to creating the good and strong communities,” she continued, adding:

“I know there are probably some who will question my role as chairwoman of the Mary Foundation. To that I would say that bullying and violence are never acceptable and can never be justified. It must be fought and prevented. That was my position 15 years ago when I started the Mary Foundation, and that is my position today. “

Crown Princess Mary ended by:

»Our work in the Mary Foundation to combat and prevent violence and to contribute to the creation of inclusive communities is unchanged. And our work continues unabated. Thanks for today.”

After this, Crown Princess Mary drove away in her car.
