LJP founder and former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan’s first death anniversary is on 12 September. Earlier Tejashwi Yadav has written a letter to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. In this letter, he has demanded to establish a statue of Ram Vilas Paswan and Raghuvansh Prasad Singh in Bihar and declare a state function on their birth anniversary or death anniversary. He has also tweeted the letter written to the Chief Minister from his Twitter handle.
What Tejashwi wrote in his letter
Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tejashwi wrote in the letter, ‘Doctors Raghuvansh Prasad Singh and Ram Vilas Paswan, both were great personalities of the state as well as intense socialist leaders. Both the politicians did remarkable service to the state of Bihar through their social concerns and active political life. Both have been such sons of Bihar, with whose personality and work we all Biharis will always be indebted.

Appeal to pay attention to the letter written by Raghuvansh Prasad to CM
Tejashwi further said, ‘You know that a few days before his death, the self. Dr. Raghuvansh Babu had expressed his desire to fulfill some of his demands through a letter addressed to you. I am sure you will be taking necessary steps to meet those demands. Respecting the last wishes of Raghuvansh Babu and fulfilling them will be our true tribute to him.

Tejashwi demanded just before the death anniversary of Ram Vilas Paswan
The RJD leader said that ‘Similarly, Ram Vilas Paswan was a strong advocate of social justice, egalitarian development and socialism. He devoted his entire life for the social upliftment, struggle, protection and development of the downtrodden. He always struggled for the development of Bihar. Appealing to CM Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi said- ‘I request you to kindly establish life-size statues of Raghuvansh Babu and Ram Vilas Paswan in the state and declare their birth anniversary or death anniversary as a state function.’
