Teen Wolf: Astro teases Stiles’ return in the film

Scott McCall actor Tyler Posey has hinted that Dylan O’Brien could return as Stiles Stilinski in Teen Wolf: The Movie at Paramount+.

Five years since MTV’s Teen Wolf ended its final season, Scott McCall returns for the first film in the series, the return of several beloved characters from the show has cast doubt on Stiles Stilinski’s fate in the production.

During the film’s panel at San Diego Comic Con, Tyler Posey stated, “all the characters you’d want to see again”. A curious promise, as Dylan O’Brien reported that he will not return to the film, due to production problems with the actor.

Not only did he promise the characters’ presence, Tyler excited the event’s audience by saying, “the movie is everything the fans want, it’s the entire show encapsulated in one” (via ScreenRant).

Whether Stiles will participate is a question, but the production also has other characters who will not participate in the film.

The cast should still have Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Orny Adams as Coach Bobby Finstock, Linden Ashby as Noah Stilinski, JR Bourne as Chris Argent, Seth Gilliam as Dr. Alan Deaton, Colton Haynes returning as Jackson Whittemore, Ryan Kelley as Jordan Parrish, Melissa Ponzio as Melissa McCall and Dylan Sprayberry as Liam Dunbar.

Despite these names, other Teen Wolf acquaintances are unlikely to return. The absences are Dylan O’Brien, Arden Cho and Tyler Hoechlin.

Variety reports that creator Jeff Davis signs a deal with the platform. The contract is for multiple years and it includes the production of the Teen Wolf movie.

Tyler Posey, one of the original members of Teen Wolf, has always supported a comeback.

In addition to the news of the return, a summary of the story was released. A new evil will arrive in Beacon Hills, kicking off the Teen Wolf movie.

Because of this, the werewolves are gathering and calling everyone who can help, including Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds and Kitsunes.

But despite the union, only McCall, who is now an Alpha, can bring all of his friends back to truly face this new enemy.

The synopsis promises that this villain “is the deadliest” ever faced by Teen Wolf characters.

The Teen Wolf movie is expected to arrive in 2022 on Paramount+. For now, the series can be seen on Netflix in Brazil.
