Dusan Tadić played an important role on Friday during a convincing victory by Serbia on a visit to Bahrain. It concerns the last game of Tadić and his colleagues in the run-up to the start of the World Cup.
The left leg was, as always, in the base at his home country on Friday and it soon paid off. The captain managed to score for the 0-1 in the eighth minute. He did not do that in a simple way, but by means of a beautiful free kick from a distance. He shot the ball unstoppably into the far corner behind the Bahrain keeper.
The lead didn’t last long, because after fifteen minutes it was already 1-1. It was also the halftime score, but after tea Tadić quickly put his country ahead again. A minute later, he also provided the assist to Dusan Vlahovic’s 1-3. In the end it would be 1-5 thanks to goals from Filip Djuricic and striker Luka Jovic.
