Swiss detained in Belarus, Natallia Hersche, says she feels good

A Swiss representative was able to meet on Tuesday with the Swiss Natallia Hersche, detained in Belarus for more than a year after participating in a demonstration against the regime of President Alexander Lukashenko. She is doing well.

Natallia Hersche, who is also Belarusian, received the visit of the charge d’affaires ad interim of Switzerland, John Ruhoff, announced Thursday on Twitter the Swiss ambassador in Belarus, Claude Altermatt. She expressed her gratitude to all those who support her, specifies the embassy on Facebook.

The Swiss-Belarusian had participated in a demonstration against the re-election of President Lukashenko on September 19, 2020 in Minsk and had been arrested.
