Surprise, OM targets a La Liga flop in the transfer window

The transfer window is approaching and the tracks are multiplying on the side of OM, where Pablo Longoria has every intention of being active.

As we know, the president of Olympique de Marseille has made a lot of progress on the file of the Angevin striker Mohamed Ali Cho in recent weeks. An agreement is not very far between Angers and OM for a transfer of between 12 and 15 million euros even if the file is not yet finalized. In the defensive sector, Isaak Touré (Le Havre) is also approaching while Samuel Gigot has already officially signed up with OM, the club he will join this summer. Pablo Longoria, who likes to multiply leads so as never to be caught off guard, has many other files in progress. According to information from the newspaper Sport, the president of Olympique de Marseille has, for example, expressed his interest in Nico Melamed, author of a chaotic season at Espanyol Barcelona. A track that may surprise…

Flop… but great hope for Spanish football

And for good reason, the attacking midfielder of Espanyol Barcelona has really struggled this season with 31 games but only 8 starts in La Liga and a starving record of one goal and one assist. Nico Melamed, 21, is however considered one of the great talents of his generation in Spain, hence Pablo Longoria’s interest in him when it is common knowledge that the president of the Olympique de Marseille knows all the players playing in Spain by heart. It now remains to be seen if the Marseille club will pursue this track by taking the risk of investing in a player in cruel lack of confidence, or if Pablo Longoria has simply taken the temperature without seriously considering submitting an offer to the Barcelona club for the moment. Anyway, the president of OM will be attentive to possible movements in this file and is ready to jump in case he considers that the moment is right.
