Supernatural actress Nicki Aycox dies aged 47

Actress Nicki Aycox, known for her work on the CW series Supernatural, has died at the age of 47. Aycox died after being diagnosed with leukemia over a year ago.

Aycox played Meg Masters in the first and fourth seasons of the series, which starred Jensen Ackles and Jared Padelecki, which has now received a prequel.

According to CBRthe information was revealed by the actress’s sister-in-law, Susan Raab Ceklosky, who mourned the death of Aycox on Facebook.

“My beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented and loving sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, passed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, at her side,” she wrote.

“Nicki and Matt had a wonderful life together in California. She was definitely a fighter and everyone who knew her loved her,” she concluded.

In addition to playing Meg Masters on Supernatural, Aycox is known for Hungry Eyes 2, the sequel to the low-budget horror film.

Aycox also portrayed Chastity Raines on the X-Files series, and Kate Westwood on Law & Order, recurring roles in the productions.

However, the actress had been away from film and TV for a few years, with her last project being the film Dead on Campus, in 2014.

In her biography on Instagram, Aycox already said that she was a former actress, and that she was fighting leukemia and about to undergo her second stem cell transplant.
