An employee strike could impact San Diego Comic-Con 2022, according to an article by Comic Book Resources.
The website says hundreds of employees at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, a hotel very important to the event, are currently on strike.
The reason for the strike is that they have been without a contract since November, and are demanding a salary increase for renewal.
The hotel, however, is not willing to accept the increase, and would be holding back negotiations with the employees.
Complication for the event
The Hilton San Diego Bayfront is of utmost importance to the event as it hosts a number of famous guests.
In addition, part of the hotel is dedicated to panels and press interviews. The strike could complicate matters a bit for San Diego Comic-Con 2022 organizers.
It is worth remembering that San Diego Comic-Con 2022 takes place between the 21st and 24th of July.
