Stranger Things 4 won’t have a happy ending, say creators

In an interview with the magazine empirethe Duffer Brothers have revealed that the fourth season of Stranger Things will not have a happy ending.

The producers commented that, contrary to what usually happens in other series, here we will not have a hint of a fresh start for the next season.

In fact, it looks like it will be a landmark conclusion to everything that has happened in Season 4 thus far.

“Part 2 really takes what we did in Part 1 and brings closure to everything. Generally, in a season finale, we end things in a somewhat optimistic way, before showing a sign that something is coming.”

“As we head into season five, we don’t need to do that. There will be no restart for the conclusion of this season.”
