‘Star Wars’: Bryce Dallas Howard Discusses Possibility of Directing a Star Wars Movie

Bryce Dallas Howard made her debut as director of the universe’Star Wars‘ in ‘the Mandalorian‘ and returned to the position in the 2nd season of the attraction and also in ‘Boba Fett’s Book‘.

The star-directed episodes have been met with a lot of positive reviews, and fans would love to see her direct a film in the saga.

While promoting ‘Jurassic World: Dominion‘, her next film as an actress, Howard was asked about the possibility and also supported the idea, but said that she never received this invitation.

“Oh my God”she said to io9. “I think it would take someone [da Lucasfilm] invite me before [de eu responder esta pergunta].”

For this wish to become a reality, all it takes is the Lucasfilm consider the success of episodes directed by Howard.

His introduction to the saga was in chapter 4 of ‘The Mandalorian, ‘Sanctuary‘, which featured Mando (Pedro Pascal) and Cara Dune (Gina Carano) protecting a village against Imperial invaders, which turned out to be one of the most memorable moments of the first season.

Already in season 2, she was responsible for introducing the live-action version of Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) in live-in Chapter 11, ‘The Heiress‘ with a plot that delves even deeper into the mythology of the Mandalorians.

Most recently, she directed the most unforgettable episode of ‘Boba Fett’s Book‘, ‘Return of the Mandalorian‘, which was entirely centered around Pascal’s character, steeped in the saga’s lore with flashbacksaction scenes and references to the prequel trilogy.

And then would you like to see Howard taking over the direction of a film in the franchise?

Remembering that Howard reprises her role as Claire in ‘Jurassic World: Dominion‘, which debuts in June 10.

The sequel puts humanity on the brink of extinction nearly 30 years after John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) and InGen cloned several species of dinosaurs.

Four years after a volcano destroyed Isla Nublar in ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ (2018), dinosaurs now live – and hunt – alongside humans across the world.

To counter the threat, the new film will bring together two generations of franchise stars.

In addition to former Jurassic World employees: Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire, we’ll also see the original Jurassic Park survivors: Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum).
