‘Just imagine how shocked I was. I had to smoke one more after that round. “

This is how it sounds from Snoop Dogg in the podcast ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’.

Here he talks – according to VG – about his experiences with cannabis legislation in Norway, which, he says, has gotten him into trouble with the law’s long arm several times.

The 49-year-old rapper with the middle name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. tells among other things about an episode after a concert.

Here he must have been approached by two Norwegian officers, who asked him to take them to the police station for a drug test.

“They said, ‘You can either give us a blood test or pee in a cup,'” the rapper said in the podcast.

He goes on to say that in connection with a new concert six months later, he was once again arrested and taken to the station.

“I had to pee in a cup again, and then they asked me if they could have a picture with me before they let me go,” he says and continues:

In the podcast, host Joe Rogan also expresses astonishment that cannabis is indeed illegal to both consume and possess in Norway, to which Snoop Dogg must emphasize the legislation:

“They have zero tolerance,” he says.

The rapper does not elaborate on when the alleged arrests should have taken place.

In 2012, however, he was arrested at customs in connection with a visit to Norway because he was in possession of eight grams of marijuana and more than 227,000 kroner in cash.

Snoop Dogg was subsequently denied entry to the country for two years.

However, it is not only the long arm of the law in Norway that the world-famous rapper has had problems with.

He has previously threatened to boycott Sweden because he was detained in 2015 after being stopped in a routine check.

Aftonbladet wrote at the time that the rapper seemed so affected that the officers took him to the station so he could have a drug test.

Subsequently, Snoop Dogg wrote the following on social media:

“I know many of you are worried about me. I made it. They took me and they forced me to pee in a cup and they did not find a shit. Nothing. Fuck you. All my Swedish fans can now thank your fucking police for never seeing me in your country again. “
