The actor from Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Zachary Levi, revealed how he was injured in a bizarre way.
In a recent interview, Levi, who will return in another film at DC, commented that he ended up in the hospital after being injured playing Wii Sports on the Nintendo Wii (via CBR).
However, the case is nothing new, and the accident happened in 2006. The actor revealed that he was with some friends playing the game, when he ended up cutting his hand on a lamp. It was his first time playing with the console.
“We were playing tennis, and I didn’t see the lamp that was within arm’s reach right above me. So I broke this glass, it exploded everywhere in the room, I dropped my Wii controller, and it was hanging from my wrist as blood started to spurt out of my hand.”
“I was afraid it would last forever. So I had to justify this to an emergency doctor at 3am because I was in the hospital,” he commented.
