Sardinia, rescued 7 speleologists blocked all night in a flooded cave in Dorgali

Seven cavers were stuck yesterday, January 7, in the flooded cave of Ispinigoli, a Dorgali, during a patrol and were rescued this morning 8 January. They are all in good conditions of health, despite a whole night spent in the cold and in the dark.

The group has been identified around 5, after the alarm raised at 10pm from a friend of theirs who had not seen them return after entering the cave. The rescue operation took place with the use of 30 technicians from the Relief Alpine and Speleological, coming from the stations of Nuoro, Sassari, Iglesias e Cagliari.
