Investment for your daughters? She buys £5million house
Sarah Ferguson has treated herself to a new property, it is said. The luxury property in the heart of London could be an investment for her daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
While Prince Andrew, 62, had to sell his chic chalet in Switzerland due to lack of money, his ex-wife’s money still seems to be loose. Sarah Ferguson, 62, is said to have just bought a luxurious property in the Mayfair district of London for five million pounds (around 5.9 million euros), according to the “Daily Mail”.
Sarah Ferguson buys house near Ghislaine Maxwell’s former home
It’s on one of London’s most exclusive streets – popular with the Beatles in the 1960s and with Rihanna when she visits the metropolis. Particularly spicy: The house of Ghislaine Maxwell, 60, in which the photo of Prince Andrew with Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who was still a minor, was taken at the time, is said to be only ten minutes away.

The fact that Sarah Ferguson becomes the new homeowner here could have consequences, says a neighbor who, according to the Daily Mail, lives only a few houses away: “I assume that property values here will rise with a member of the royal family – unless Andrew moves a.” However, it is believed that the 62-year-old bought the villa as an investment for her daughters Princess Beatrice, 33, and Princess Eugenie, 32.
Visit in spring
Sarah Ferguson is said to have bought her new home from a friend, the Duke of Westminster, 31, who inherited his father’s £10 billion fortune and a property empire in 2016, making him one of the richest people in Britain. He is also friends with Prince William, 40, and Prince Harry, 37.
In the spring, Ferguson is said to have been seen touring the house, according to people in the area. “About two months ago I saw her coming out of the house. She seemed in a hurry and got into a car,” says a housekeeper who works in the neighborhood.
The property once consisted of two apartments and has now been converted back into a house. Whether Fergie will move in there himself remains to be seen. She still lives with her ex-husband at his home, the Royal Lodge, in Windsor.
