Sandy laments the death of a puppy after a battle with a tumor: ‘So warrior’

Sandy used social media this Tuesday morning (16) to pay tribute to Zelda, the family’s pet dog who died after months of battling an illness. “What a difficult post to make… I’m saying goodbye to 12 and a half years of such a beautiful partnership, so much, so much love and so much exchange,” said the singer, who recently debuted a cooking show.

The pet faced two tumors in the last eight months, according to Lucas Lima, musician and husband of the artist. “My first ‘little daughter’, chipmunk, intelligent, full of love and joy needed to go rest. And I understand, she really needed it. But the longing is already huge… the heart, hurting…, confessed Sandy.

She singled out Zelda as part of the family: “She taught me a lot. And that will be kept together with the many, many happy memories I have of her with my family. It was an important part of it.“.

Júnior Lima’s sister ended the tribute by highlighting Zelda’s fight against the disease, whose diagnosis was not informed by the family: “Thank you, Zeldinha, for having fought so hard, for being such a warrior this last year and for being the best companion a family could have. I love you forever”.

Lucas Lima also used social media to lament the departure of the pet. “For those who have already lost a pet, they don’t even need to explain, for those who have never lost, it’s no use… it’s such a specific type of pain, it hurts in a little place just for her,” said the member of the Lima Family.

The artist also spoke about Zelda’s presence during all the couple’s moments until then: “Zelda was here since the beginning of the marriage and with Theo all her life, shared with us the whole process of becoming a real couple and after becoming a family“.

According to Lucas, Sandy’s care was extremely important for Zelda to live longer: “She would have left a long time ago if it wasn’t for the warrior Sandynha who fought like crazy and not only extended life, but gave quality for our Zeldinha to stay with us a little longer”.
