It should be noted that Rubén Blades and Roberto Delgado & Orquesta, are also nominated in the category “Album of the Year” by SALSWING, whose winner will be announced at the awards gala, tonight starting at 8:00 pm and can be seen on Univision or TNT.

Tribute as “Person of the Year”

This Wednesday night, the “Person of the Year” gala, in which Rubén Blades received a great tribute from several colleagues who offered their talent and voices to interpret his most iconic songs such as El Cantante, Looking for Guayaba, Me Remember You, Ligia Elena, Amor y Control, Tiburón, Paula C, Decisiones, El Padre Antonio and El Monaguillo Andrés, Homeland, Looking for America and Camaleón .

Blades is expected to perform tonight at the Latin Grammy ceremony with Roberto Delgado & Orquesta, with whom he will kick off the “Salswing Tour!” by the United States as of November 20.

Panamanians nominated

This year is historic for Panama, as several Panamanians are on the list of nominees for the Gramys Awards.
