Rekha made her debut in Hindi cinema with the film ‘Do Shikari’ and after that she also appeared in many Bollywood hits. Rekha had told in one of her interviews that she never wanted to become an actress. But due to mother, he had to step into acting. According to her mother, she had entered the cinema, but here she was treated in such a way that she used to spend her night crying every day.

This thing related to Rekha was revealed by Annu Kapoor on 92.5 BIG FM’s show Suhana Safar. Talking about Rekha’s film journey, Annu Kapoor had said, “Some of her films were shot in Mumbai, where her experience was also very bad. Rekha was a child at that time and was also a little fat. In such a situation, it was told by her mother that only measured food should be given to the actress.

Talking about Rekha, Annu Kapoor further said, “Chocolate and ice cream used to keep Rekha away. Rekha was finding it difficult to understand and speak the language of Mumbai. She could not speak or understand anything. In such a situation, many times people used to hear him even in filthy language. Rekha had told in one of her interviews that Mumbai was like a jungle for her.

Annu Kapoor further said about Rekha’s career, “Rekha had told that people used to try to take advantage of her a lot here. They used to wear such clothes and jewelry, which would cause allergies and rashes. She used to cry every day because of these things and wondered why she is not able to live like a normal child.”

Let us tell you that on Simi Garewal’s chat show, Rekha had told that her mother had lured her in the name of appearing in films, due to which she fell in his trap. Rekha had said, “Mother told me that if I acted in the film, I would get to go to South Africa, where I would be able to see animals too.”
