Sister of Neymar, Rafaella Santos debuted on the catwalks this Saturday (20) at São Paulo Fashion Week – event in which Luciano Szafir paraded showing his ostomy bag. The influencer paraded using looks from the Essential collection, the first signed by humorist Carlinhos Maia in partnership with northeastern clothing brand Baska. Wearing a long-sleeved cropped and side-bound skirt, she posed backstage and displayed the tattoo on her upper thigh.
The show was attended by Simaria, who bet on an overcoat with a powerful neckline and a handbag by the brand Balenciaga. Hugo Gloss, Luisa Mell, Nicole Bahls, Rafa Brites, Mônica Salgado and Duda Reis were also in the audience, honoring Carlinhos Maia.
The Essential collection features the participation of creative director Dudu Farias, Carlinhos Maia’s stylist. The monocratic looks presented in the fashion show were designed to be worn day or night. “I love monochromatic tones, [eu e Dudu Farias] we created on top of what I already used. The idea is to show pieces that people use on a daily basis”, commented Carlinhos.
Sasha Meneghel parades at São Paulo Fashion Week and her husband freaks out: ‘I screamed like a madman’
This Friday (19) it was Sasha Meneghel’s turn to cross the São Paulo Fashion Week catwalk. Wearing pantaloons and a round top, she walked for the sustainable brand Misci and was honored by her parents, Xuxa Meneghel and Luciano Szafir. Her husband, João Figueiredo, was also present and was thrilled to see his wife passing him in the parade.
The gospel singer shared the moment on social media and declared himself to Sasha in the caption. “I’m so proud of you that I wasn’t even able to watch the parade behaved, I screamed like a madman. I cried lol but I’ve learned that if we feel, we have to show it! I love you so much, CONGRATULATIONS”, wrote João.
The day before, Luciano Szafir paraded for the first time after bowel surgery and showed off his ostomy bag. The businessman started using it after suffering complications from Covid-19 and having to undergo the procedure. Sasha herself, accompanied by her husband, honored her father, shouting from the audience when he appeared. In a conversation with the press, Szafir highlighted the importance of the ostomy bag having appeared on the catwalk. “This surgery saved my life and I have no reason to be ashamed,” he assured. “I want people to be able to see that this can happen to anyone,” he added.
