Is Princess Beatrice being pushed out of the Royal Family?
On his 74th birthday on November 14, King Charles announced he would like to appoint Princess Anne, 72, and Prince Edward, 58, as Councilors of State. Thus, his siblings will represent the regent in official duties when he is abroad. In theory, Prince Harry, Prince Andrew, 62, and Princess Beatrice, 34, could also act in the monarch’s stead as they are still Councilors of State under the Regency Act. However, with the addition of Edward and Anne, it is very unlikely that this will ever happen.
“I think the purpose of this legislation is to sideline all three – Harry, Andrew and Beatrice,” Royal expert Richard Palmer told Express. While Andrew is likely to be ousted for his involvement in the Epstein scandal and Harry for his retirement as a senior, Charles could only have been kind to Beatrice. “She said she doesn’t want to be a full-time royal, that she wants a career,” Palmer said. So maybe the monarch just wanted to take the royal burden off his niece’s shoulders.

British royals stir with sweet Paddington pictures in the palace
Many royal fans are enjoying this Instagram post: The British royal family published a few cute pictures with several Paddington bears that were placed in different places in the palace. Sometimes a little one sits on a couch while a bigger one rushes down the stairs, sometimes someone grabs a Paddington book from the bookshelf. But Paddington Bear, which is right next to an old picture of Queen Elizabeth, †96, and Prince Philip, †99, touches the most.
Both the Queen and Paddington Bear are regarded as something of a symbol of Great Britain. A video in which the two talk about jam sandwiches became a network hit in June 2022. And so it was that, after the death of the Queen, grieving citizens laid down hundreds of bears in front of the royal residences and at public mourning sites.
Now these bears are being donated to the children’s charity Barnado’s, of which Queen Camilla, 75, has been a patron since 2016. And so numerous Paddington bears are leaving the British royal family these days. In a statement next to the sweet photos, they say “themselves” again: “We had a nice stay at Clarence House and Buckingham Palace (we do our best not to mess around…). We look forward to it to arrive at our new homes next week!”
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan: Netflix documentary should be released this year
It’s a constant back and forth: Apparently it’s not yet clear when the Netflix documentary about Prince Harry, 38, and Duchess Meghan, 41, from which some family scandals are expected, will actually appear. At first it was said that the streaming service had scheduled the start of the series for a date shortly after the broadcast of the fifth season of “The Crown” in November. But then suddenly there was talk that Harry and Meghan still wanted to make changes after the death of Queen Elizabeth, † 96 and the broadcast will therefore be postponed to next year. Now, in turn, sources close to the project tell Page Six that there will be no postponement and the show will start in December: “As far as I know, the docuseries is still being prepared for the end of the year.”
Whether this information is really true this time – we will probably only find out when the start date is officially confirmed.

Prince and Princess of Wales play key role in state visit
A very special appointment awaits Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, both 40, next week: From November 22 to 23, 2022, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, 70, will travel to Great Britain for a state visit. Due to the corona pandemic, it is the first visit by a head of state in three years – and also the first since the death of Queen Elizabeth, † 96. In this busy two days, Kate and William play a key role.
According to official palace protocol, the Prince and Princess of Wales are tasked with welcoming Cyril Ramaphosa to his London hotel on Tuesday morning on behalf of the King. They then accompany him to Horse Guards Parade, where he will be greeted by King Charles, 74, and joined in a carriage procession back to the palace. According to the British newspaper “Daily Mirror” it is expected that William and Catherine will also attend the evening state banquet.
King Charles celebrated with William and Catherine at Windsor Castle
At Windsor Castle there was reason to celebrate earlier this week: According to “Hello”, King Charles, 74, had invited his loved ones to the sacred halls to celebrate a very special occasion with them. The reception, which was also attended by Prince William, 40, Catherine, Princess of Wales, 40, and Prince Edward, 58, and wife Sophie, 57, recognized the hard work that went into the platinum anniversary celebrations for the late Queen Elizabeth, † 96, have flowed in.
On this occasion, the royals certainly toasted two other big events. Charles celebrated his 74th birthday on November 14 and announced the same day that he was appointing his siblings Princess Anne, 72, and Prince Edward as Councilors of State, allowing them to represent the monarch on official duties.

Prince William is also associated with the English football team as the Prince of Wales
On his first visit to the Senedd in Cardiff, the Welsh Parliament, Prince William has to defend himself directly for a long-held passion. The heir to the throne has been criticized for continuing to support the England national football team as the new Prince of Wales. Asked about the upcoming Wales-England game by Senedd chairman Elin Jones, 56, during a casual chat, William explained: “I’ll tell everyone I support them both, definitely. I can’t lose. I’ve supported England since I was very small.”
However, the 40-year-old has apparently found a way to carry both his homeland in his heart in sport. “I support Welsh rugby and that’s my way of doing it. I like to support Wales in rugby and not England, so I can play carefully with my affiliations. I’m afraid if I suddenly drop England to support Wales, then it doesn’t look good for the sport either, so I can’t do that, “he explains loudly “Hello”. However, if there is a World Cup final between England and Wales, he says it would be “pretty good” and promises: “I will support Wales throughout the process because I know it’s a big thing for Wales.”

Catherine, Princess of Wales: One of her key employees is retiring
Catherine, Princess of Wales and Prince William have built up a large and trusted staff over the past few years to advise and organize their busy schedules. One of the most important people since June 2020 is Hannah Cockburn-Logie. But the private secretary, who is often referred to as Kate’s “right hand man”, is said to have retired from her royal duties, according to the British “Hello!” magazine.
This emerges from a letter from Companies House. Accordingly, Hannah should no longer be responsible as private secretary of the Princess of Wales since November 1st. It is currently not known whether she will simply give up her position of responsibility and continue to work for Catherine and William, or whether she will retire completely from the staff.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie with their husbands
After all the hardships of the past few months and the big changes within the British royal family, Princess Beatrice, 34, and Princess Eugenie, 32, treated themselves to a well-deserved break from the stressful everyday life at the beginning of the week. According to “The Sun”, she and her husbands Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 38, and Jack Brooksbank, 36, went on a double date at London’s Royal Albert Hall. There they sat and celebrated in the VIP box while their good friend Robbie Williams, 48, gave a concert. Eugenie and Jack’s son August, 1, and Beatrice’ and Edo’s daughter Sienna, 1, were allowed to stay with grandma and grandpa on this special evening.

Duke of Kent: Royal fans spot unusual mishap
Every year on the second Sunday in November, all eyes are on the British royal family on Remembrance Sunday. It is the conclusion of the ceremonies in memory of the fallen of the First World War. This year, the attention of royal fans worldwide was fatal to a royal personality who was considered particularly diligent. The cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth, † 96, had an obvious style mishap. Prince Edward, 2nd Duke of Kent, 87, was noticed by a clothing mishap.
A detail that immediately became an issue on the internet. “I noticed that the Duke of Kent’s uniform was missing a button today,” commented the blogger “Gert’s Royals” on Twitter on a photo of the Duke from yesterday, Sunday. A conspicuous fashion faux pas that the seasoned member of the royal family in another form appears not to have happened for the first time.”The Duke of Kent appears to be having some issues with his uniforms this year,” the blogger said the wrong shoulder.” Little mishaps that don’t necessarily suit the otherwise well-established representative of the British monarchy, but still make him wonderfully human.
