Prince Albert + Princess Charlène
We haven’t seen her so in love for a long time
Princess Charlène and Prince Albert are known for their reserved manner in public, but in Norway the couple is now letting their feelings run free and is more intimate than they have been for a long time.
The marriage of Princess Charlène, 44, and Prince Albert, 64, has been put to the test again and again in recent months: concerns about Charlène’s health, the spatial separation, the many rumors about a possible love crisis – the couple had to do a lot withstand.
Princess Charlène: First trip abroad with Albert
For a few weeks now, Princess Charlène has dared to go public again, completed a few appointments in Monaco and is now even accompanying her husband on his first trip abroad after her health odyssey. Together with their children Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, both 7, the royal couple traveled to Norway on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. In Oslo, the family met for a private lunch with King Harald, 85, Queen Sonja, 84, Prince Haakon, 48, Princess Mette-Marit, 48, and Princess Märtha Louise, 50, at the Bygdø Kongsgård estate, after which they went with them the Crown Prince to the exhibition “Sailing the Sea of Scienc” on the polar ship Gjøa in the Frammmuseum.
A kissing photo with rarity factor
Before the exhibition, the Monegasques were already expected by numerous photographers, and together with Haakon, the family skilfully posed for the press. But in a moment that seemed to go unnoticed, Charlène and Albert showed a different side: before they went to the museum, they gave each other a loving kiss. A rare sight, after all, Charlène and Albert always politely hold back with public declarations of love. All the better that they obviously feel so comfortable in Norway and let their feelings run free!
The couple denied separation rumors
In the past, Prince Albert has firmly denied that there is no truth to the rumors of a separation. In various interviews he emphasized that Charlene “did not go into exile” or was angry with him when she flew to South Africa. He also repeatedly made it clear how much he would miss his wife. At the end of May, Princess Charlène also spoke about the negative headlines. “I find it unfortunate that some media are spreading such rumors about my life and my marriage,” said the princess. She explained: “Like everyone else we are human and like everyone else we have emotions and weaknesses, only our family is put on display in the media and every little weakness is passed on.”
