That way you won’t miss a show again. Here you will find all program highlights on Sunday at a glance.
8:20 p.m., the first, police call 110: the light that the dead see, thriller
A dead girl, wrapped in plastic, buried. No usable traces. No concrete clues. Commissioner Elisabeth “Bessie” Eyckhoff (Verena Altenberger) tries to solve the murder of 16-year-old Laura Schmidt. Together with Dennis Eden (Stephan Zinner), who has now also switched to homicide, Bessie searches for clues and comes across an earlier case: the disappearance of Anne Ludwig, who was also 16 at the time. Is there a connection between these two cases?
8:15 p.m., VOX, Grill den Henssler, cooking show
Can Bruce Darnell, Pierre M. Krause and Lukas Podolski stand up to Steffen Henssler? With the help of the coach Sascha Stemberg, the celebrities want to “grill” the cooking king and convince the jury. Laura Wontorra moderates and Mirja Boes, Reiner Calmund and Christian Rach rate the conjured dishes.
8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Le Mans 66 – Against every chance, racing drama
Le Mans, 1966: Despite everyone advising him against it, car developer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) decides to work with short-tempered racing driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale). Despite poor prospects, they want to win the race in Le Mans together with Ford and beat Ferrari. But the fight for victory is tough and demands everything from both of them.
8:15 p.m., RTLzwei, Malavita – The Family, mafia comedy
Actually, the Manzonis are an almost normal family. If Giovanni Manzoni (Robert De Niro) hadn’t been a big hit in the New York underworld and he wouldn’t have busted a whole host of rival mobsters. Manzoni and his wife Maggie (Michelle Pfeiffer) have to flee with their children to the witness protection program in Normandy. However, the family’s adjustment to their new surroundings does not go smoothly.
10:15 p.m., ZDF, Harry Wild – murderer hunt in Dublin, crime series
Susan Henderson (Fiona York) has something to say to her family on her 83rd birthday. To gather everyone around, there is a video conference instead of a celebration – where everyone has to see a murder. Susan is about to announce her important news about the settlement of her inheritance when a masked figure in black approaches her from behind and strangles her. The police are at a loss: Nobody would have a motive for murdering the lady.
